this morning.
woke up shivering in cold.
air-con blast + cold weather
day2 of SPH school correspondent interview.
yes. i'm part of the interviewer panel.
sit with the reporters and some other fellow exco mates.
interview the new recruits.
today we had 2 rgs. 1 jjc, 3 nyjc 2 nygh and mgs and scgs
so we filtered 5.
those we suspect of attitude problem.
and too busy to be committed.
or really need more time to catch up with sch work.
hahah.
so fun! after a while i went to help out outside.
ask ppl to relax.
dnt get nervous.
haha.

had office lunch with the exco mates.
at the SPH canteen.
haha.
went to meet emily and sarah (whom i just got to knw today!)
went to look for presents for cga
a.k.a: cell group appreciation
(btw mcys has also a project called a.k.a which stands for
arts kick ass, bu they write as arts kick a** on the media)
went marina sq.
thn bt merah to meet mich.
haha. they meet new friend
tiffany, mich's friend.
thn we went ikea to shop.
and have emily's 2nd lunch.
which she claims is still not enough for her.
alright.
6pm.
back to city hall.
back track.
to meet the mcys ppl
for my interview?
they said it was informal.
it really was.
we're supposed to be joining a *scape workgrp
under Mr vivian balakrisnan.
the minister.
haha, the youth workgrp committee.
we met the president scholar-to-be
and told us how impt this committe
can help us get a scholarship like him next time
but i seriously just hope to volunteer
and learn to serve the community.
well. we had lots of fun with the older ones.
first they were worried if we're over committed
to leadership posts. which i think i had.
but they love to have a SPH ppl inside.
haha. they want me to join and help write stuffs.
haha. so funny.
later whn i told them i had track as cca
and do hurdle
the boss said " is it that you can go hurdle over other reporters and take photos"
...
4th committee i am in.
and i love to work with people.
that's what i have gathered from my working experience this year
under the various out of school committee.
the sph exco is the toughest i shld say.
work with ppl. deal with PR.
call ppl up to ensure attendance.
work closely with dealine.
effective communication.
times to be a friend
and times to make decisions
and be assuring.

ytsa brought me lots of friends!
to work to promote sports in town.
and lots of chance to learn how to work in a team.
unity and team spirit.

bsp exco.
wells. tedious.
working under stress.
meet up with big shots.
having confidence in myself.
how to present yourself
not only to be able to do impromptu stuff.
but to do it well
and how it is like to deal with important people.
made alot of friends from oversea!
including the hainan principal whom i really love
we had a nice time chatting
while the rest are resting in their rooms.
nearly became his god-son.
we presented our view of things
to each other and really learn alot.
